  • One support worker dedicated to one participant

  • More individualised, one-on-one assistance

  • Suited to participants with higher or more complex support needs

  • Support can be tailored closely around the participant’s routine, goals and preferences

1:2 Shared Support

  • One support worker supports two participants

  • Support is shared across everyday routines and household activities

  • Suited to participants whose needs and routines are compatible

  • Encourages shared living while still supporting each person’s individual goals and independence
