"The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is the oldest and most visited gallery in Australia. Situated over two magnificent buildings – NGV International and The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia – the Gallery hosts a wide range of international and local artists, exhibitions, programs and events; from contemporary art to major international historic exhibitions, fashion and design, architecture, sound and dance."

Ways to Travel:

Drive

Free street parking spots for people with appropriate permits are located outside the Arts Centre Melbourne on St Kilda Road, however these spots are in high demand.

​

Paid accessible parking is available at the Arts Centre Melbourne and Australian Ballet Centre Car Park for NGV International, and at Fed Square for The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia.

Train

You can catch a train Flinders Street Station. A Metro service will stop at Flinders Street train station, depending on the time you may have to do an exchange at Southern Cross. Once at Flinders Street NGV is a 6 min walk from the station down St. Kilda Road.
