About Us
At Connecting Staff, we are a dedicated support work company providing personalised, one-on-one support to children, young people, and adults living with a disability. Our team of experienced support workers help participants build independence, access the community and reach their NDIS goals, all while feeling safe, respected and understood.
We know that every person is unique, so we take the time to understand each individual’s needs, preferences, and aspirations. Whether it’s helping at home, getting out and about, or developing new skills, our support is flexible and built around you.
We also work closely with families, allied health professionals, and services to ensure a strong circle of support. As a non-registered NDIS provider, we work with self-managed and plan-managed participants across Victoria.

How We Support You
We assist our participants with a range of support, from establishing a great routine which works for the individual, to engaging in local activities to improve social skills.
Social
Support
This support can include getting out and about with your support worker, joining social activities, learning new skills, or taking part in hobbies and interests. For some, it’s simply having a support worker as a mentor and companion to share time with.
Home
Support
We provide in-home support that is flexible and tailored to your NDIS goals. This may include help with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, organising routines, or working on life skills.
Travel
Needs
We provide support to help you get where you need to go, safely and confidently. This may include transport to medical or specialist appointments, school or day programs, after-school activities, or accessing local community for shopping or social outings.
Community
Access
We support participants to increase their independence and actively engage in their local community. This may involve developing social skills, accessing local services, joining community groups, or exploring new interests.

Psychosocial
We understand that living with a psychosocial disability can make it challenging to participate fully in everyday life. Our in-house psychosocial support sessions provide a safe, supportive space for participants to build life skills, work on personal goals, and increase confidence, without the need for clinical therapy.
Retreats
Our Short Term Accommodation provides participants with a one-on-one getaway designed to support goal development in a new and engaging environment. This support offers a break from everyday routines and promotes skill-building, social participation, and increased independence — all while enjoying fun and meaningful experiences with a familiar support worker.
SIL Support
At Connecting Staff, our aim is to provide SIL supports that feel calm, respectful, consistent and centred around the individual, helping them thrive independently. We understand that home is a personal space, and the right support should help participants feel safe, comfortable, listened to and in control of their daily life.
Activities
We provide a wide range of individualised supports and activities to help participants achieve their NDIS goals and live more independently. Our services include school holiday programs, Saturday night social groups, one-on-one support, and outreach assistance to access your local community, as well as other flexible options tailored to your needs.
