At Connecting Staff, our philosophy is to recognise and support the impact of societal and organisational barriers affecting children, young people and adults. Our practice is tailored to meet the needs and overcome any barriers that restrict life's opportunities.
We collaborate with colleagues and professionals from other sectors, services or agencies, working collectively with the participant on issues of common concern. As a non-registered NDIS provider, self-managed or plan-managed participants are able to work with us.
Empower. Grow. Trust.
Our mission at Connecting Staff is to provide personalised programs, activities and solutions that support people to live their fullest life, their way. We work with children, young people, adults, families, who have social, physical, intellectual disabilities or mental illness.
Connecting Staff offers a range of support such as school holiday programs, Saturday night social groups, one on one support, outreach support to access your local communities and much more. We have an amazing team of support workers who are dedicated to providing the best care to our participants.
Our staff have undertaken any necessary qualifications and required checks, while having higher education or experience in supporting children, young people and adults with additional needs. The team all hold a Level 2 First Aid and CPR certificate along with a current working with children's check and have undergone a police check.
This short term accomodation aims to give participants a one-on-one getaway to grow friendships and have greater experiences with their support worker while working on their goals in a different environment. This gives them a change of scenery from the their normal day to day routine.
We are excited to announce our new service here a Connecting Staff. Do you need an extra helping hand around the house getting things done? We're here to help!
How we can support you
We assist our participants with a range of support, from establishing a great routine which works for the individual, to engaging in local activities to improve social skills.
This type of support can range from engaging in more social settings, getting out n’ about, learn a new skill or participating in an activity or interest. For some, it’s just having a mentor and friend to keep you company.
We offer support at home. This can include playing games, watching movies, helping with homework and assisting you with chores. Some just might like hanging out in a safe and comfortable environment.
When you need some help getting around town. Whether you have an appointment, school pick up and drop off, after school activities or just need to pop into town for lunch or shopping. We are here to help.
We want to help everyone have independence while having access to your local community. This can include helping you build the confidence and skills to achieve your goals in the community.

Tim has built an amazing organisation with mentorship and training for staff that really is second to none. Forever grateful to Tim and my children's support workers. Connecting Staff has become part of our family and I feel so lucky to have come across them."
