ABOUT US
At Connecting Staff, our philosophy is to recognise and support the impact of societal and organisational barriers affecting children, young people and adults. Our practice is tailored to meet the needs and overcome any barriers that restrict life's opportunities.
We collaborate with colleagues and professionals from other sectors, services or agencies, working collectively with the participant on issues of common concern. As a non-registered NDIS provider, self-managed or plan-managed participants are able to work with us.
Empower. Grow. Trust.
Our Mission
Our mission at Connecting Staff is to provide personalised programs, activities and solutions that support people to live their fullest life, their way. We work with children, young people, adults, families, who have social, physical, intellectual disabilities or mental illness.
Activities
Connecting Staff offers a range of support such as school holiday programs, Saturday night social groups, one on one support, outreach support to access your local communities and much more. We have an amazing team of support workers who are dedicated to providing the best care to our participants.
Our Team
Our staff have undertaken any necessary qualifications and required checks, while having higher education or experience in supporting children, young people and adults with additional needs. The team all hold a Level 2 First Aid and CPR certificate along with a current working with children's check and have undergone a police check.
Short Stays
This short term accomodation aims to give participants a one-on-one getaway to grow friendships and have greater experiences with their support worker while working on their goals in a different environment. This gives them a change of scenery from the their normal day to day routine.
