Why do I love working at Connecting Staff?
I love being a support worker for Connecting Staff as it is a highly rewarding role. There is a lot to learn from others and assisting individuals to grow through their strengths is a great ongoing achievement. Helping others has taught me how intricate and different everyone really is, and how it takes compassion, kindness and patience in order to effectively support someone. As a support worker, these necessary traits have not only assisted in my role, but have also echoed out into other experiences in my life.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
If I could go anywhere, I would most likely go to Sicily in Italy. I am half italian and it would be wonderful to be surrounded by the culture and landscapes where my Dad was born. Having lived in Australia all my life, it would be nice embracing the Italian side of my DNA!
What are my hobbies?
I enjoy exploring nature, exercising, gaming, music and film making. However above all, I enjoy creating art the most. There is so much magic in the ability to visually express oneself, and I particularly explore the connection with the subconscious and conscious minds.I often combine my love for nature and music when creating art, which amplifies my ability to internally reflect 🙂. I have also always had an interest in philosophy, as it further explores the importance of the subconscious. I enjoy studying my hobbies by challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone, which allows me to grow and learn!

I have 2 cats, 2 Dogs, 1 crazy bird and 3 fish!
